Jessica and Matt have a love for Jesus and the city of Detroit. They look to join in where God is at work in the lives of those around them. Matt, Jessica, and their family live at Hope House and use their gifts to welcome each child into a welcoming and safe space.

Riley and Rae add their urban mission experience to our efforts to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the young people in the neighborhood.  They pour into every young life, working with the kids one-on-one. They mentor and model a godly way of life, showing the love of Christ as they open their hearts to the children. 

Amy brings her love and passion for people to be in a personal relationship with Jesus to the community and team. She comes from a background in ministry serving in the college setting and is excited to be sharing the love of Jesus now with the youth in the neighborhood. 

Laurie simply loves Jesus, her family, friends, and neighbors. She thrives when outdoors, loves playing with children, and enjoys cooking. Her life is filled with opportunities to allow her inner child to play and listen from her heart to the many stories shared in relationship with others. Laurie is grateful to be living her calling with the exceptional Hope House Detroit team.

Monique has a passion for youth and their positive growth which has been exhibited in her more than two decades of youth and community development work.  She loves Jesus and knows that each young person is uniquely created by God for greatness.  Therefore, Monique seeks to be a catalyst for directing and navigating youth to meet their full potential.  HHD’s Job Training program is a way to provide both employment and career skills building and experience, while facilitating personal development for the youth in our community.
